Natalya and Dana proposed and began the Ugly Objects project during their artist-in-residence organized by Atelier Ted Noten who is participating in the Red Light Design project. The residency was located at OUDEKERKSPLEIN 4, 1012GZ AMSTERDAM.

Since the Ugly Objects project parallels changes occuring in the Red Light District, each artist and owner was asked to comment about the city's plan to alter the neighborhood. Below are some of their answers.
